KERSL Automation (formerly Korsika Energy Research and Services Ltd) is an industrial-skills continuing education training provider located at Ranna Plaza Ltd, Kotobabi #2 Junction, Spintex, Accra. The company offers technical training in industrial automation, mechatronics and solar power systems design and installation for the up-skilling of engineers and technicians employed in Ghana’s industrial sector. The company also offers automation upgrade design solutions for industries, machine installation and motor rewinding services.

KERSL Automation is currently one of the best recognized industrial automation training providers in Ghana. Our vision of using home-grown expertise and technology to design and construct industrial automation training equipment for technical schools and universities is in line with the government’s strategic goal of “Ghana Beyond Aid.” However, “Ghana Beyond Aid” cannot be fully achieved without building a strong, technically-competent workforce that can fully support the country’s industrialization effort. A technically competent workforce requires a strong hands-on training component in our technical schools and technical universities. Unfortunately, because of lack of financial resources in many cases, the institutions are unable to import the required laboratory equipment for hands-on training.

KERSL Automation, a fully-Ghanaian-owned company specializing in the design and construction of industrial automation and mechatronics equipment for institutions has entered the market to meet this need. The company provides these at a cheaper price than importing similar equipment. In addition, the institutions will now have direct local support at a much lower cost for training the instructors who will be doing the teaching.

Why automation and mechatronics? Because these disciplines are significant underpinnings for today’s manufacturing industries. Therefore, KERSL Automation is committed to providing the right interface between industry and academia to develop industry-ready technical school graduates in these disciplines.

The mission of KERSL is to contribute to Ghana’s industrialization process by providing workplace and continuing education training in manufacturing skills, industrial automation, and to design small scale cottage manufacturing plants to bring added-value to raw materials, thereby improving the standard of living of rural community.s.

KERSL’s vision is to be the leading catalyst in moving Ghana into a globally recognized industrialized country.
